Men's Dress Shirts
With so many colors in mens shirts today it is sometimes difficult to know what shirt goes with what pants and what color shirts should be worn on for different occasions. While many men find themselves drawn to black dress shirts, once they get them home they are never quite sure what to wear with them or what types of occasions these shirts are most suited for.
Oxford cloth is the coarsest shirting; it is nonetheless quite soft and comfortable. A casual fabric, it is naturally found on the button-down collar shirt, but in the US is perfectly acceptable for most business occasions. In colored and patterned Oxford shirts only the threads running in one direction are dyed, with the other threads being left white. This gives it a basket-weave, meaning the fabric's warp and weft threads cross each other in pairs. It has a characteristic textured appearance (which lends to its casual feel). Pinpoint oxford is woven likewise but of finer yarn and is smoother and more formal. Royal Oxford is finer still and can blend seamlessly with a fine wool suit and expensive tie.
You can find men's dress shirts in many fabrics like oxford fabric, twill fabric, poplin fabric, cotton fabric, formal shirt fabric and many more. It is always better to wear the fabric in which you feel comfortable. Every person has different needs and requirements. Cotton fabric is most comfortable and the most preferred fabric amongst all. It is also very important to wear the shirts having the right kind of fitting. Shirts which are very loose or tight can spoil your overall presentation. Ready made shirts might not give you the exact fitting but you can find a decent fit which will look good. You might have to try different brands before buying the shirt as the fitting and quality of each brand differ from each other. It is very important to explain to the tailor the kind of style or fitting you want. One advantage of tailor made shirts is that you can alter the shirt very easily if it does not fit you or does not look the way you want it to.
If you do find the right kind off men's dress shirt which complements your personality and skin tone it can speak volumes of the way you carry yourself and conduct yourself in a professional forum. If you really don't want to mix and match contrasting colors or you're not too sure about how it will look, try and stick to basic colors so that when you're running late for any event your choice is simple and quick. You can always experiment with a colorful tie to give it a much in vogue look. You can always stick to colors like blue, white, gray and black if you don't like wearing bright men's dress shirt like a pink or a bright green. You should be comfortable in what you're wearing and should pay extra attention to the fit.
