Dr. Jonathan Michael "J.D." Dorian of Scrubs: A character analysis
One of the reasons for the popularity of Scrubs is its lead character Dr. John Michael Dorian, who is also known as J.D. He is a doctor of medicine and works at St. Vincent's Hospital. Earlier, he worked at Sacred Heart for eight years, but left the job to stay in touch with his son, Sam. He also has an experience of working as a professor at Winston University. J.D. is inspired by a school teacher to take up medicine. While working at Sacred Heart, he gains a lot of experience, as he is required to serve at various positions.
